20 Lehigh Valley College Students and Grads Pass Medical Assisting Certification Exam

Center Valley (August 1, 2006) – The Allied Health Department at Lehigh Valley College announced today that all 20 LVC students and graduates taking the Spring 2006 Medical Assisting Certification Exam at the school passed the test. The school offered its congratulations to the 20 on the successful completion of the Medical Assisting program at LVC, and on earning national certification as Certified Medical Assistants.

All the graduates are from LVC, but not all are from the current graduating class. To be eligible to take the tests prior to graduation, students must be in their final term.

As a group, the LVC students and graduates achieved a very high average score – 88 percent – on the spring exam. The national average for everyone taking the exam is the in the mid 70s.
